Appointments are £50. This includes a full ear health check, free hearing check, before and after photos, and a follow-up if needed at no extra charge. There are no hidden fees, and payment is taken after your appointment. I accept cards, contactless, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amex, and cash.
If, after a full otoscopy examination of the ear canal, no earwax removal is found to be necessary, there is only a £20 consultation fee payable. This includes diagnosis of any ear infection or ear-related issues, as well as a hearing check.
How long does an appointment take?
Each appointment is booked with enough time for proper care. Most take around 45 to 60 minutes. I clean and prepare the clinic between every client, so there is no rush. You will have time to ask questions, see your ear images, and understand what has been done.
Do I need to soften my earwax before my appointment?
In some cases, using olive oil spray or drops such as Earol for three to five days beforehand can help, especially if you know your wax tends to be dry or hard. If you are unsure, it is fine to come without doing this. I will always check your ears first and let you know what is best.
What methods do you use for earwax removal in Ardleigh?

What if the wax cannot be removed on the day?
If your wax is too dry or compacted, I may suggest using olive oil spray for a few more days and then offer a free follow-up appointment. This ensures you only pay once, even if more than one visit is needed.
